This is a reup of a thread i put on warbeats 1.0 basically the rules are, you post an incredibly wack song/tv theme that you think is impossible to flip into a hawt beat. the person who posts after you then has to attempt to make it into a beat and post it up for everybody to laugh at/critisize. that person then posts up a wack sample for the next guy to flip. i'll start by posting a wack ass sample, have fun yall! FLIP IT: POST YOUR TRACK EVEN IF IT SUCKS!! no matter how hard you failed at it, post it up anyway and keep the game going ^.^ |

Thought I'd have a go , still keeping with the short beat vibe ( about half a minute long ) and the distorted b-line .
And I'll leave you with this

This something I put together for the Kermit song. I'm not a big fan of pitching voices, it's not my thing but I didn't like the way the Kermit vocals sounded unpitched (sorry Kermit). Hope y'all don't hate it.
And for the next unlucky customer..... |

Nice flip bigd757 , I'm like you when it comes to pitched up vocals but I had to do it to get rid of Rick Astley's monotone voice !!! Cheers for the heads up Mr. Whitfield , yeah you can't guess what the latest Vst I've got is can you Ha Ha .It was an ok flip for a 20 minute job, might go back to it and try give it a bit more attention. |

Hmmm, the Chocobo Theme flip wasn't so bad. I definitely see possibilities that weren't there before. Good job. I forgot about Johnny Bravo. Wasn't my favorite cartoon, I think I only watched it b/c it came on before DBZ after school. Anyways, here is my rendition for the JB theme. I gotta say this one was kinda fun to work on. Probably not the most hip hoppedy shit ever but it kept my head noddin. If y'all don't like... yah whatever. Oh yah, I don't really have a whack sample lined up atm, so whoever has a good one (or not so good one) can post it in my stead. |

Oh boy, that Barbie shit is unchartered territory. I don't know about that one. I'm not saying it can't be done but I don't think I'm the man for that job. Glad you thought the JB beat was funny, always a good thing. |

hahahahaha, so i was flipping the barbie sample right, i pitched and slowed it down, and i found a funkin subliminal message! xD if you slow it down alot, at the part where they say ''A light up jaccuzi'' the word jaccuzi is actually doubled with the words ''you wanna see!'' you might not notice it at first but if you play it starting from the 'cuzi' in jaccuzi you'll hear it, im positive that they did that on purpose lmao. brainwashing our gawt damn children. isnt that supposed to be illegal? |
