ok, so I want to fade in my drums while other instruments is playing, but I still want to mix my drums in seperate mixertracks, is there any easy way too do this? besides making an automation clip to each of my drums. And no, sending them to a common mixertrack didnt work.

    thanks

On the mixer track that your drums are on, set up a automation clip by right clicking on the volume. Once your automation clip comes up you can make the necessary adjustment (how fast or slow) you fade in. Check the tutorials as well, I believer there is a video on fade ins and fade outs or automation.

What you want to do is create a "bus" for drums in the mixer. A bus will take the audio from each of the drums mixer tracks and allow you to add FX or whatever you wantl all of them together. This will also allow you to fade them all in together. To do this, select a new mixer track (or send) and rout all of your drums TO THAT TRACK ONLY

This video starts explaining this about halfway through... just make sure you have all the drums going ot the same track

    Hope I helped!
