This is a problem I have recently run into that I cannot figure out. When ever I attempt to sample an older song, which I sometimes do by lining old vinyl records to my interface, the pitch seems off by a few cents. Whenever I try to play another instrument over the sample, or when I recreate the melody the sample sounds a tad bit flat when played back simultaneously. I imagine this is just the way these older songs played back but I cant use these samples without fixing there pitch, which I cannot figure out how to do. Might make a good tutorial, but I'm just looking for some aid. Someone help? How can I change the pitch of my sample just a few cents?
