I'm sure there are a lot of things that we as producers/beatmakers/artists/writers would like to improve on....but if you could pick one right now, what would it be?

I would pick to be a better pianist in regards to theory and moving along the keyboard.

That's a good one ^. But at this moment, if I had to pick 1 thing I would say to be better at promoting my music. I currently have no sound-click/sound-cloud/facebook/twitter/youtube/etc... The only site I really belong to is Warbeats lol. But that's something that I will be changing soon.

soooo many, not to say, every aspect lol...hmm i would love to be better at playing piano too, but there is one problem...every time i come from a piano lesson, i feel so inspired that i immediately start composing my own music instead of practicing

Most aspects. But yeah, really knowing how to play the keys would help me a lot.

I want to stop being lazy with it.

I'm not a lazy person at all but when im making music i just go ''nah i wont name all my samples too much work.. nah im not gonna add a bridge or switchup f it... nah i'll practise piano later..''

a couple of days ago i caught myself staring at the mpc for a moment when i came home and sat down to play skyrim instead.. a couple of hours later i realized what i had done and immediatly brought the xbox to a friends house lol.

TR i think that means that you love skyrim more then making music, be honest with yourself...if making music is something you love the most, then you will do it every or almost everyday....its same as sexy chick, would you miss a date with a sexy chick just to play some video games

Nah just cause he plays skyrim dosent meen that lol.. Shyt I alredy have like 10 days 9 hours logged playtime on battlefied 3 and its only been out for like 2 months.

I find myself at times too seperated from, should I make a beat? should play Bf3? would say Bf3 has been winning a bit, but keep in mind i dont sleep much so i have alot of time to do both lol.

Deff gotta get my self more focused though and realize what needs to be done at times.

So many ways I wanna improve hard to pick just one. One thing I can't do is make tons of beats in a short time frame. Most beat makers now are just throwing up 100's of beats like its nothing. Most I can do is 5 MAYBE 10 in a week.

^ tons of practise leads to perfectiont though, but i get what you mean

and skyrim just won the battle cause that is fresh and new and ive been staring at that green lil mpc screen many times over already. once the newness is gone music will win again. when you truly love something it doesnt grow old, so after wahtever your hype for at the moment you can just return to that.

In a word... Discipline. I would stick to a plan to finish a song instead of constantly looking for better ways to do things and never getting anything done.

If I could improve on one area of my music it would be making all my music without synthesizers and using live instruments instead like the Roots. I don't know why, but I think that would be ultimate if I could produce a song with my bare hands.

I'd say I'd like to improve in being lazy when it comes Tao doing switch up and transitions in my beats.
