In FL Studio, whenever I make a melody, for example. If the melody ends in the beginning of the next bar it will wait til the end of that bar to loop to the beginning. Is there anyway I can have a melody/chord progression loop back when there is no more input? Or have it loop back when I want it to, without it waiting til the end of the bar?

There are two ways on the playlist. Both are involved where the beat measures are (the numbers on top that go forward) either you can right click the bar right after the melody and only if you have stuff after it it will work and loop right back to the beginning signaled by a black play button. OR, the way I do it is you click on the beginning of the melody in the playlist where the beat measures are and if you drag it forward, you will see a red highlight and take that to the end of the melody. From there on whenever you press play it will replay what is highlighted in the red box. You can also do this in the piano roll as well.

thanks. When you do the red highlight way, how do you make it permanently like that?

Once you click and drag, its already permanent and will loop infinetly until you click the highlight again and it will deactivate.

Its not looping how I want it too...do you know of any vids or links where it shows how to do this or the other way you were talking about?
