I was thinking there should be a section WB for experienced users of FL on the forums.

Most of the good topics are overpowed by help crys and whatnot [not saying i dont help or thats a problem ] but i would want a place other than the chat to see who has good experience in production as well as FL or any other DAW

maybe a test to have acess to that part of the forum or a certain badge privileged by a mod or nfx from being knowledgeable about things around production in general.

Where should one draw the line on what 'advanced' should be.. Who decides you're advanced or not.. My opinion let everything be as it be.. No sense in dividing people.. We all one..

im actually on board with the others. tho calling it an advanced section would be off the real point.

but deviding the threads where peopel ask for help and stuff from the threads where major bombs are dropped could be a good thing if people wanna browse those.

I think I like this idea. And you could tell if you were an advanced user or not by if you knew wtf was going on when you "entered" the room. I just get tired of seeing/answering the same 3 questions (what is compression/how do I tape stop/How do I mix and master profesionally)

I know what your saying (trust me, I really do... lol) but how would you do that is the question.  I'm having a hard time thinking of topics that would sort of automatically do that.  Like I think the theory thread has some interesting stuff going on but every once and awhile "do you really need scales?" what can you really do.

Plus since you can include as many people as you want in a PM, to be honest you can (and I do) already do this sort of.

What about a "HELP, I'm a Noob!" thread so the mundane questions are in the same place? Probably wouldn't work, just an idea.

    Here's a question...

What are the top 3 newbie questions?

    3. What's the best VST for____? (insert genre here, we should have a VST by genre list)

    2.  How do I sell beats? (Just go ahead and put a step by step guide... save us all, please)

    1.  Do I really need to learn?  (I'm just gonna leave it there, could have said theory, scales, sound design etc but this is kinda the gist.)  The answer is yes.

Instead of making an advanced section.. Make a FAQ/Noobie Section and put that section somewhere up top.. (let's say the top section in the "Discussions" section.. Put all the most asked questions there.. We build that section with a bunch of stickies. This will make moderating the forums alot easier too for these typa questions imho..
