I wanna realize how many hours u all spend on making an accurate beat.
I tend to do everything quite fastly cuz listening over and over kills inspiration, takes away that magic feeling, but I usually end up making low quality beats. Any suggestion? |

most of the time i start and finish in 5-10min...but i have an idea that i made in my head whole day or just a few minutes ....but when i make it...i usally add some final touches to it...so its probably much longer then an hour....and then after that its time for mixing & mastering ^^ |

whaat JB 5-10 minutes? i dont even finish my drums at that time for me ussually takes like 1-3 hours to finish most of the beat, then i work slowly ajusting some little things and add some if its nessecary, then mixing time and it vary alot depends how many different sounds i use in the beat. but i guess i work on most of my beats like 3 days |

Depends on the beat, raw boom bap beats come out pretty damn quick as there's not much fiddling around to do but I'd say on average about 30-60min without mixing or any of that. |

About an hour, Then change it again and again as I progress through the song so maybe in total 2-3 hours |

making everything can take me from about 2 hours up to 12 hours depending on the beat. i either finish in one day or i dont finish it at all. im incapable of workiing on one beat for 2 days because my mindset is just different each day lol after that i usually mix it in 1-2 days if i really want to do it but alot of times i dont feel like mixing and just wait weeks upon weeks upon weeks to mix it lol.. like right now i have 4 beats and a full song that need mixing and have had it waiting for like a month.. so mixwise it can take a while but the beat itself is mostly just some hours. also, when your making a beat, try to listen to what you have at that point as little as possible. alot of people put whatever they have in there on a loop and go looking for the next sound with the beat still playing. try to avoid that in order to be able to listen to it longer without getting bored with it |

u're right, I've got a lot of projects I started and listened to them over and over till boredom ending up to drop them. When I feel that I'm bout to get fed up with the stuff I'm working on I start a new project and get back to that after some hours or days |

Depends on the track...if im in the studio working with an artist...its quick for some reason, but not when im at home. At homee usually 45mins to and hour if i go straight through...but most times i just save it and come back to it mabybe a couple days to a month later opening it it adding changes and sounds, adding fx and level changes. |

I never finish a track in one sitting. Im also really impatient, so to stop myself from making bad decisions just to get finished I break down the work over several days. That way I can also take out the bad stuff, one thing that sounds good today could sound bad the next day. |

between 2-3 hours (summed up) and 6 hours (summed up) I think. If I take all the time in between sessions, it's about 2-7 days. |

For me every beat is different. Some might come to you in a hour some might take days. There is no set time on how long it should take you to complete a beat either if it takes you five min. or a year its ok its your creation when you think its done its done. |
