Recently moved from FL Studio to Reason and its lookin good so far, i can see Reason as improving my workflow a whole though there's some things im unclear on.

If anyone knows how to use both DAW's, help would be appreciated. First off, in FL Studio, you have patterns, and you simply click in the main sequencer to arrange your song, in Reason its alot more gritty. If i record a pattern, it places it on the song sequencer though..if i have already layed out the entire song and i want to go back and make some changes to the piano roll, it only edits that one 'clip' instead of every pattern in the song and secondly if i delete, say, every 'clip', i dont know how to bring it back without having to rerecord again.

And, relating to quantization, when you quantize, it brings notes forward and in line with the beat, though the length remains the same unlike in FL Studio, where you quantize and each note's length is adjusted accordingly.

    Thanks

i'm actually not sure how that first thing can be fixed, you'd probably just have to delete the old clips and replace them with the new edited one.

if you delete every clip it will be lost, so put a clip you want to save in a spot where it won't bother you, like past the end of the song.

when you quantize it does only quantize the beginning, theres no way to make it do both as far as i know, you'll have to work with it

Ok to get deleted stuff back it Ctrl Z and u can do that till forever. I normally like using the colour pallete thingy. It saves u a lot of time in figuring wht is where. Also just add the new note icon to ur repertoire of DOs  it also helps alot. Ctrl Drag makes copies of what is being drag.

Ok the quantize thing i rarely use when recording but hitting F8 brings up the tool window. To adjust length of note pick Note Lengths from the tool window and mess with it till u like it. Alternatively u can try Legato adjustment its the drop menu after Note Lengths.

I hope that helps u alil if not pls drop me line. I will be more than happy to help.
