Seems like Image Line team will release a new plugin, what do yall think it is? I personally think it is either a mastering tool (maximizer) or a built in Guitar AMP.... what do u think it is?

I agree with you. The drive and base controls indicate it could be integrated with a bass or guitar.
It could also be just a type of compressor/limiter because of the output level and duration. At the other side if we look at the "sampling ratio" this could be a actual instrument because a normal compressor or maximizer doesnt have such control. Sampling ratio is usually instrument specific to control the number of samples played.
Another thing I noticed both sampled ratio and duration (which could indicate the release or a duration of a sequence or release of a compression) are outside of the fields "master" and "main" which could indicate that those two are not mastering or mixing related. |

It's most likely an amp-ish thing for bass and guitars with "drive" and "sub-bass" knobs. |

Looks to me like its supposed to be used for elctronic music like dubstep basses and electro synths etc... just a wild guess |

A Bass plugin fits perfectly in here tho... The sub bass knob would make sense... And the strings could still be there, just as in kontakt prebass or Jay bass |
